This section lists most of the software I use. It's not really an endorsement, but more of a statement of "It works for me."
Firewall - The Vista PCs use Windows Firewall, while the other PCs use either Windows Firewall or Zone Alarm.
Anti-virus - The Vista PCs use NOD32, while the other PCs use either Avast or AVG.
Defrag - Most PCs use Diskeeper, and the rest use XP's defrag utility.
Tweaks - TweakVI, TweakUI, or TweakMCE.
Other - I use WhatsRunning and Everest on most PCs. Microsoft's Autoruns is pretty useful on Vista.
Email - I use MailWasher Pro and Outlook 2007.
Browser - All PCs have Mozilla's Firefox, and either Internet Explorer 6 or 7.
File Transfer - Mostly WS_FTP Pro, occasionally WinSCP.
Panorama - AutoStitch is a great free program that can assemble very large panoramas.
General - Microsoft Digital Image Suite, Corel PaintShop Pro, occasionally others.
Paint - I use the free Paint.Net program and am learning more about Gimp.
Video Editing - Ulead DVD Movie Factory, VideoReDo Plus, Windows MovieMaker, PhotoStory. Since I now have a HD camcorder, I use ULead Studio and Pinnacle Studio to edit those videos.
Office - Microsoft Office 2007.
Maps - Microsoft Streets & Trips with GPS for realtime and route planning, Google Maps for the satellite views.
Web - ForeHelp for my web sites, Web Expression for future use.
Development - Visual Studio 2005, Visual SlickEdit.
